Norwood & DeLonge, 1963

Pasadena
Sold

The City of Pasadena coined a new term ‘Oriental Modern’ to describe the creative aspect of this mid-century design imagined by Norwood & Delonge. The Asian influences of the exterior of the property are incorporated indoors and the extensive use of glass and open patio space is a welcome sight for those seeking mid-century architecture. Skillfully reinvented to be completely ADA compliant through universal design, unit 18 offers two master suites, atrium and formal dining room, all on one level. Remodeled by Mannigan Designs in 2010, the designer incorporates the ‘home for life’ concept into the unit. Smooth floor surfaces and the lack of any stairs from the garage to the unit make accessibility an ease without compromising on style. Unit 18 has been the recipient of numerous awards for their creative and functional designs for all ages.
